Fun filled Autumn Family Days continue with Building in Origami! Kids of all ages will visit Eamon O’Kane’s Cardboard Modernist Furniture Workshop. Inspired by Modernist designs, children will re-imagine the furniture in miniature through Origami.

Behind Smoke & Mirrors Curatorial Tour & Catalogue Launch
An extensive catalogue has been published to document Behind Smoke & Mirrors. The full colour 60page document charts the project visually and incorporates texts by curator Susan Holland which examine the processes, challenges and outcomes of the Open Studio Residency and Exhibition.

Family Day: Visit
This extra special Family Day invites families to visit the Open Studios upstairs in the gallery in June and July. Bernardine Carroll, one of the artists working in the studio, will tell you all about her 'Travel Free Travel' project and talk to you about where you would take a visitor, showing them your favorite places in Limerick.

Limerick based artist Gillian Kenny in conversation with LCGA Curator / Director Mike Fitzpatrick will discuss her current exhibition of over thirty new paintings. Limerick Soundmapping Broadcast
This work by Florian Hüttner will take the form of three Radio Features on WestLimerick.fm, Lyric.fm and Wired.fm. The soundmapping process is a way of exploring an area by recording and listening back to its sounds.

ev+a 2009 venues will be open from 10am on March 14th for the first viewing. The ev+a bus will leave Limerick City Gallery of Art at 11am with a second at 12noon on Saturday 14th to bring visitors to the three other venues.
