Family Day: Re-Making the Collection
Saturday 29th August
Facilitated by Tadgh McCullagh

Fun-filled Autumn Family Days begin with Re-Making the Collection! Kids of all ages will visit the LCGA Permenant Collection, showing over 800 artworks by Irish artists in the painting, drawing, sculpture, print and photography.
Inspired by the wealth of imagery, mediums and motifs, children will re-imagine the themes explored in the Collection through drawing, building and collage. Re-Making the Collection workshop at LCGA is part of National Heritage Week.
Family Days examine many ways of making art, allowing children to experiment with new and exciting ways of making through drawing, painting, collage and sculpture! Kids and Mummies, Daddies, Granny’s or Uncles can have their own making fun! Workshops are facilitated on a voluntary basis by local artists and by LCGA staff.
Upcoming family day: September 26th.
