Presence 08 is an extensive exhibition highlighting some of the leading Irish artists associated with Limerick. The group exhibition celebrates the diversity of contemporary art in Limerick, through a cross-section of mediums.

Seeing Georgian Limerick
To commemorate 50 years of the Irish Georgian Society the Limerick Chapter of the Irish Georgian Society and Limerick City Gallery of Art have commissioned four artists to take photographs of Georgian Limerick, celebrating the architectural character nor the historic importance of the townscape.

Concrete Light
This survey exhibition, which is Starling’s first major exhibition in Ireland, will present previously existing work exhibited with a newly commissioned work, Mirrored Wall Head, 2008.

This is McLoughlin’s first museum exhibition and will present bodies of new work. McLoughlin’s process involves connecting with specific groups in society and developing work in audio, film, drawing, photography and sculptural installations.

Sixty Year Retrospective
Sixty Year Retrospective is the first major retrospective by painter Walter Verling. The extensive exhibition, spanning his full career, comprises of over 120 outstanding works in painting and drawing made from the 1940’s through to present day.
