Six Memos
Mary Conlon is the third recipient of the Shinnors Scholarship – MA in Curatorial Studies and is at the developmental stage of her research project. Prompted by the imminent redevelopment of the historic
Conlon initiated a series of social, public readings: Carnegie Reading Circles that shift a traditionally private activity into a public performance. As part of the LCGA off-site programme, she will organise a series of exhibitions and events under the name of Six Memos which refers to Italo Calvino’s lectures Six Memos for the Next Millennium. The series will be divided into chapters, each with a distinct area of investigation.
