Exhibition Programme

The exhibition programme reflects the threefold mission of the gallery, to enhances the cultural life of Limerick and the Mid-West Region.

LCGA aims to:

• Provide an innovative exhibition programme, which offers regional, national and international artists the opportunity to experiment, develop and display their work.  
• Acquire, conserve, research, communicate and exhibit the Permanent Collection, for purposes of study, education and enjoyment.       
• Deliver a high quality public service for local communities, national and international visitors to participate in and to enjoy exciting cultural experiences.

Should you wish to submit a proposal to LCGA, we advise posting your submission to Limerick City Gallery of Art, Carnegie Building, Pery Square, Limerick. Please include printed images or images on cd/dvd, a statement or proposal and a CV. To send a proposal via email, send to artgallery@limerickcity.ie  attaching no more than five small jpeg images or a link to your website.

Limerick City Gallery of Art has a central involvement with ev+a, Ireland's pre eminent  open submission exhibition. An annual exhibition of visual+ art selected each year by an invited international curator. Limerick City Gallery of Art is the principal venue for e v+ a, and the exhibitions spreads into formal and informal venues throughout Limerick City. Submissions for  ev+ a are invited in October/November each year for the following year's exhibition. For further information about ev+a go to www.eva.ie
